I see your point. Israel may muck up lebanon like the US mucked up iraq. However unlike the US in iraq, israels survival is at stake. I dont think you can find the missiles the way you say in large enough numbers to make it meaningful.
In any case if we go back to day 1 and the kidnappings, what should israel have done proportionally as you say? Kidnap hizbollah folks? They are not geared to do that in lebanon. They have done that in gaza and you folks complained about that. I think you might be being a bit disingenous here. But anyway what should israel have done DAY 1 when kidnappings occurred. Just trade existing prisoners for the 2. You cant do that becausae of the precedent it sets. You would be a laughing stock if you did that.
