You know, it's funny. New York got hit by the al Qaeda nutcases who brought the towers down. I don't remember anyone criticizing Giuliani, the NYPD, the FDNY, the NY Port Authority, or the paramedics for their response. Rather they all got well deserved praise for their brave actions in the face of an unanticipated emergency that killed hundreds of them. They knowingly went into burning buildings in danger of collapse at serious risk to their own lives. Hundreds of them were killed.

Somebody apparently still remembers where the buck stops first.
