Again it seems you are skipping over the 'broader context'. "So what you are talking about is the World run by a small band of jews." The jews are expecting the imminent appearance of messiah, as are Christians and Muslims. There are varying prophetic scenarios for the world that are not necessarily compatible but that depend on control of this region, and that are ascribed to by billions of devoted persons. You don't have to be a religious scholar to get that 'broader context'. Whether it is what you want or not, surely you recognize the world views of those who see a 'Kingdom of God' in the future. Maybe CNN is right and it is as simple as finding the right 'road map to peace' or the rules for a 'fair fight' over realestate. ... notbloodylikely...
