I do agree that there was a lot of pent-up demand for an iBook replacement, and that undoubtedly helped fuel sales for Q3. But I doubt that the demand has been completely or mostly satisfied in the less than six weeks that the MacBook has been shipping.

This quarter is back to school. Should be good demand for a hot product like the Macbook. Then it's the Christmas quarter, and a whole new line of Intel pro line Macs.

I don't see overall CPU sales slipping before calendar Q1, 2007. if then. I predict 1.5 million units this quarter.
