Our military does not have anywhere near the amount of boots on the ground to take on additional conflicts anywhere in the world. We don't have enough in Iraq and can't spare any of those guys without redeployment first, and Bush is not going to allow that.

Our military is over-stretched and exhausted and has been for several years. The concept of war with Iran (why? did Iran attack us?) is absurd, reckless and self-defeating.

What we do have are bombers. But bombs alone cannot do the job, which is why the Israelis are moving in.

All this proves Bush's foreign policy is a dismal failure. It was a neocon fantasy or a black and white world where we can do anything we want. No true. The US has plenty of limitations. Vietnam and Iraq have proved that beyond any doubt. Especially when we are fighting an unjust war against a country that never attacked us, like those two quagmires.
