Another option may be that there is no intelligent reasoning behind the stock moves. Just stupid fund managers playing with other peoples money. This situation is deja-vu. We have been betting against "them" in situations before and it has been a great income, at least for me. It does not get better than this when homo-sapiens run the show. If we would have been so bloody thinking and smart at all times, the world would have been different today. I got impressed by the guidance from AMD. Many of us were cheering then. Now the stock dives, and I think it is by other forces than AMD's management.
