We have all been too slow to see the shift that has occured for Israel and the Jews from a friendless and downtrodden people to an overwhelmingly powerful people who if they do not use compassion and restraint will use that power in frightening ways The only people who need to see the change in Israel are the people who have sworn to destroy Israel, the people who do not want peace. As long as there are Muslim Nations and Muslim Clerics who swear to destroy Israel, there will be dead Muslims. Get used to it. Hezbollah will not be destroyed in this war. They will not give up on destroying Israel, and they will be part and parcel of the rebuilding of Lebanon. Strangely enough most of the people who are complaining support Hezbollah, support the murder of Israelis, just they don't support getting killed in return for the murders they support. In 5 or 6 years they will return to dropping missiles on Israel. And people will wail and complain that israel is being mean to the poor stupid people who live with terrorists in their midst.
