The snide tone of your posts regarding establishing a dialogue with "the terrorists" is indicative of just how fully developed their demonization has become. As we gradually realize the futility of trying to kill our way out of this situation, you will see more and more calls to do just what I have proposed. Yes, we will still have to kill or incarcerate a certain portion of them, but I am certain we can find a way to coexist with the majority that might otherwise resort to terrorist acts. But it starts with trying to understand what we are up against, which I have seen precious little of, so far.
