The Israeli army is so overwhelmingly powerful they have little to lose by telling people they will attack. People know that and they can't do anything about it, against Israel at least.

So there is extremism and craziness in the Muslim world. I agree. It is not fair to characterize everyone that way, but your point is heard. But extremists who believe God is on their side are not going to be intimidated by brute force. They will only multiply in numbers.

I didn't hear any comment about that link I posted -- that someone is paying a known liar to make lies as a case for war against Iran. The National Post and others were quick to accept these lies and publish them, although in this case they were caught and forced to retract them. How many other lies have we been fed? What about the forged documents about Saddam getting uranium from Niger. Who created them? We still don't know, but the White House justified war by using these lies. Someone is creating extremism and the kind of paranoid mindset that some seem to subscribe to here. Someone wants us to think we need to give a blank cheque to those who would use aggression to stop some sort of threats of a powerful and totally evil enemy they have created in our minds.
