Democrats support Israel. But not a drawn-out destabilizing war. God knows, Bush-Cheney have destabilized the region badly enough. We don't need more fuel on that fire. Israel has maybe a week at the most to do what it has to do, then Democrats and many Republicans will call and "enough is enough" cease fire. What we really need is a new US president. Bush just doesn't seem to have any aptitude for diplomacy or war-planning. His performance chawing his food and saying "shit" the other day was embarrassment. Like some kind of slacker rich kid trying to speak about advanced trigonometry.
