Do you have a larger resolution image of your portrait? In order to do what you want with the image similar to the Matt White page, the size of the image you sent was not sufficient. In any case, send the image again, whichever size, as my transfer computer is down right now, and I'm using my development machine to handle those tasks.

The other image I received (1) was a courthouse image that's by far too small to really work with. As for other courthouse images, you said you sent a link. I replied directly to that email that you provided a description of what's at the link, but not the actual link itself. To date, I still have never received the link.

The other content on the Matt White site, such as the CV and the "about" (on his site, titled as "law practice" but it's really an "about" style page in its content) has yet to be received.

The reason that we reviewed the pre-build screens was to keep you informed every step of the way before building got started. You said, on two separate occasions that they impressive and wonderful. Which is why I got started on building that way.

I explained why it was important to have some substance to the site. That is, from the standpoint of someone who needs to find a lawyer (which I myself have had to on 3 separate occasions over the course of my adult life), it's easy for non-informed consumers/laymen to make a poor choice. I drew upon my own experience in finding a lawyer to make the design usable for non-lawyers. You agreed with that rationale.

Be that as it may, I will for your benefit re-examine how to turn the site into one that offers little engagement, utility, or substance, per your request.

As to linkages of the bullets -- all of that is presented quite efficiently on the opening page. Click the area of interest, get the bullet points (which I would turn non-clickable per your request). Why make the user load another page, go to a completely new destination, just to get the exact same info? That really annoys site users. The info is already there in front of their eyeballs and they're not getting anything more by clicking to a new destination. You're just wasting your visitors' time doing that.

As to: "I've been in business since 1987, I think I know my business better than you do. I don't see why I have to explain this to you, as I have paid you to do what I asked to do."

You do indeed know law better than I do. That's why I would never consider telling you how to practice law. I've been designing the web well before most people ever heard of it, starting in 1994. You hired my expertise, experience and professional design aesthetic, not a yard boy fresh over the border to "pull that weed, fetch that wheelbarrow". You will get much more of what you want with us working together, rather than with the plantation owner style.
