<<My Toro's the best mower I've ever had.>>

Never had a Toro but about ten years ago I bought a Snapper rear engine 18 hp rider. Hydrostat drive for each of the rear wheels so it's one stick for all the driving. 0 radius turning so trimming is a thing of the past. Thing still looks and works like new.

Before that I had a Simplicity 20 horse rider with a belly deck and a brush hog. It had been used by a lawn service and wasn't in great shape. Sold it to a guy who likes to tinker and did a frame up rebuild and it looks and runs like new.

Just bought a Ford 8N tractor with a loader built in 1948. It starts so fast it will scare you. No metal termites in the tin but it does need some paint. Thing is to buy QUALITY and keep it up and it will last longer than we will.
