How do you think the wives and mothers of fallen soldiers feel when they hear you say, "lives squandered in a foreign fiasco," or lives "sadly wasted"?

I don't mind your thinking in this "perfectly honorable" way, but why is it necessary to say such things publicly?

Surely there are many ways for you to engage in antiwar rhetoric without characterizing soldiers' deaths in such a cruel and dismissive way.

IMO your concept of a "loyal opposition" is tortuously twisted.
