"'Bob Brinker cancelled library subscriptions for his newsletter after the QQQQ advice blew up'

"Apparently accurate chronologically, motivation a matter of speculation--unproven.
"

I would rate it as VERY likely to be the motivation given the other circumstances, such as a virtual firestorm of online complaints about that specific advice, his unwillingness to take calls about it, his total exclusion of it from his advertised record, and his asking at least one library to remove previously delivered issues from the shelves.

"'Bob Brinker posted false advertising in his newsletter and his web site regarding his Hulbert Rating'

"Disputed--remains unproven.
"

Agreed. What's needed is for someone who has access to the issues from early this year to check to see if there is some listing of long-term newsletter results with an ending date of January 31, 2006.

As for how many people took the QQQQ advice, I really think that is totally irrelevant. Brinker gave the advice, and he should be evaluated on it, period, end of story.
