No doubt Mosley's left hook was a beauty, but I don't think you can tell much about where Shane is on his "comeback" by the Vargas fight. I would bet half the farm that Shane faced better competition in his sparring bouts.

Mosley's team did a great job in picking Vargas, a diminished fighter with marketability to enhance their position for a future payday. But talk of Shane's punching power against bigger fighters (added in with talk of Vargas fighting Taylor had he won last week) is pure foolishness. He needs to stay in the lighter weight classes. At this point in their careers, Taylor could beat both fighters in the same night.

I agree that Vargas should retire and probably Gati also.
