CR, re: your interesting analysis at calculatedrisk.blogspot.com what about options-based compensation? is that at all captured in the BLS' real wage growth statistics? since option compensation really started just 10 yrs ago, if it's large enough in size it could be accounting for some of the lag in compensation growth. of course, even if this is true, options are skewed to high income earners, so that doesn't really help the wage growth of J6P. thoughts?
