GE :- What a great choice Jack Welch, et al, made when they decided that Jeff Immelt was the man to succeed him at General Electric.

In the article, presented by Spekulatius, Immelt quite rightly, IMO, stated that, "Every initiative needs a metric". But most important was the follow up comment, viz. " ... but at GE, the only things that move the culture are ones that show up on our INCOME STATEMENT" ! (Capitals are mine !)

That's the sort of comment that Shareholders like to read !
