The antisemites won't be "getting together" formally in the sense of alliances, partnerships, etc., the communication will be in the form of winks and nods, implicit agreements not to criticize and to condone. Many of the same things we see now.

I am convinced that the left simply cheers reflexively for the underdog without reflecting on the nature of the underdog. I think this dynamic explains the left's support of Israel in the '60s. As Israel has become more powerful, the left's reflexive support for the underdog has shifted to the new Islamist underdogs without, of course, reflecting on their inherently anti-freedom, anti-Western culture agenda. The left is in this sense like a moth ineluctably drawn to the fire which will inevitably kill it.

Put more succinctly, the left supports the Islamists and anti-semites without regard to the Islamists' essential enmity to Western culture, all of which underpins leftist thought. The left seems unable to grasp this essential and utterly transparent contradiction. But I've never accused leftists of being acute observers or even particularly smart.

It is an interesting dynamic as the Islamists/anti-Israelis have nothing but contempt for the leftists liberals who support them. Their agendas are driven by religion, creating an inherent conflict with the leftists which the left simply does not seem able to comprehend. Stupid ostriches.

The rabid right simply hates Jews. I don't fully understand the dynamic of its anti-semitism but I think it is essentially grounded in envy.
