Today is the result of Lebanon "getting along" with everybody including Hezbollah is it not?

Trying to assign blame is a waste of time in that pathetic region because you can keep going further and further back in time until it's clearly the other guy's fault. As far as recent history is concerned, I would say the main cause of the 60 years of war in that region is one group saying this multi-ethnic area is ours ("it's now a Jewish homeland, Mr. Muslim neighbor!") and not yours, and then the other group resisting. There's your source of blame for everything that follows.

Would you have accepted New Jersey being taken over by American communists in 1948, seceding from the US, declaring themselves the North American communist homeland (called Red Jersey!), receiving tremendous aid from the Soviets such that the US couldn't reverse that sudden change? Would you? Answer the question! I'll answer for you - hell no, you'd do your best to blow those pinko commies to kingdom come and return New Jersey to its proper place in capitalist Springsteen loving USA.

I did't think so. That's about the same as the formation of Israel in a location where it wasn't wanted by 98% of the surrounding population.
