I'm so glad that you asked, FakeDija. He has stated that he NEVER gave individual stock recommendations on the radio.
I say that was as close to being a lie as they come, if not one. We may differ about Utek. We may differ about GE. Both of which he may not have individually recommended, but surely did not go out of his way to discourage anyone.
I will bring up the large cap semi-conductors that he raved about for years, often for an entire segment of his program. Now, I know I am going back a while, but to my credit :---), I have not listened to the fraud for many many years.
Novellus (NVLS) was his darling. He spoke about it, he raved about it, he bragged how good it was to him. Now, you will say that it was never a specific recommendation per se. One would not be able to tell the difference, in my opinion. You could include AMAT, and KLAC with NVLS.
