A "fair, balanced and realistic" analysis. Also notice how the Arab world views the Al-Qaeda and Hezbollah even though both resort to wanton violence to achieve their goals.

A very weird analysis, partly ok, partly ignoring the elephant in the room - Iran. One simply can't make sense of what's going on without taking Iran into account.

The Arab governments have zero problem with Islamist radicals, if - and here's the big IF - they are safely pointed at external targets. Saudi Arabia has not had any kind of epiphany regarding its support for Hamas, which sticks to attacking Israel. Their entire problem is when the Islamist radicals begin attacking them at home, as Iranian based groups have long done (remember the takeover of the Grand Mosque in 1979?) and Al Qaeda has begun to do in recent years.
