These days, we take tattos off with lasers, which don't cause scarring ( usually ), unlike the older techniques. OTOH, I personally use Iamin gel a bit on surgical and other wounds. It does seem to help with healing. From what we know about related drugs, it should also help with scarring, which is a _very_ big deal. I sometimes end 'em home with a $6 tube of the stuff. Cheap insurance.

BTW, this is nothing particularly new with this class of drugs. We were using a related agent ( Orgotein ) experimentally to enhance wound healing, prevent scarring, etc. back in the '70's.

Problem is, while we have known about such agents for years, the market for dermatological agents is not "thick" enough to risk the $300-500 million it takes to get something thru the FDA when you don't know if it is going to get thru from the start. One thing that you must compliment Procyte on is how they have managed to accomplish this for a lot less.
