Actually its leftwingers who make most of the unpatriotic accusations - I get accused of being unpatriotic about every week or so on SI, for example.

Because you all are violating the Constitution which is at the heart of the American democracy. If being called unpatriotic makes you uncomfortable, then get your elected officials to clean up their acts.
