Hi earthling, Obviously I agree with your assessment of Adobe. I have been familiar with the company and used their products since the first release of postscript. My memory is poor and can not remember if they had postscript on the Lisa but it was there on the first MAC. I have watched this company develop products for the publishing industry and absorbing companies that either compete with them or add to their offerings. Adobe has been a quiet company continuing to own their small portion of the world. I also have watched Microsoft and they never seriously tried to enter Adobes market. Also the software associated with this market is tough to develop. I have owned Adobe for a long time and will continue to hold a core position until my reasons for purchase diminish.
