| | I don't know.
I'm not a lawyer.
But if I were a lawyer, I'd know what I wanted to say on my site, and how much space it would therefore take, in legal sized page terms.
But I'm not a lawyer.
I'm a photographer.
When it came time to build my website the question was: "What do you want to show."
The delay in building my site was in a very large part due to the fact that I could not make up my mind.
Once I made up my mind I also realized I would have to learn to update and maintain the site myself, lest I go broke, shortly.
So, I ended up finishing the site myself, building on top of the start for which I paid.
That in turn got me way ahead in the industry: "He shoots, he webs -- wow -- hired."
I'd say, "Tell him exactly what you want to tell your clients, whatever that is."
He cannot possibly have a clue what to build, until you do.
I sure wouldn't.
Nobody else could, really.
Some could screw you though, easy, by making up some bogus crap and web publishing it in your name, for your money.
Tell him exactly what it is you do, why you do it, and why we -- the customers -- need you.
I'm dead serious.
No, I have not talked with him, in something like a week or so. What I type here is strictly, 100% mine. He did not talk to me about any of this, nor I to him. It's all strictly conjecture on my part, from what your wrote here.
Best to both of you!! |
