Of course not, but that's not the situation. It sure is if you're an Israeli, let alone a Jew. Recall that millions of people, some 55 years ago, decided that Jews in their midst didn't deserve to "be there" (as you put it) and proceeded to exterminate them. And it was people who have the same logic as yourself, who sat back and let it happen. Do you think the Israelis and the ME is better off in its current form, or do you think those two groups would have better of if Israel had never been created and Jews were granted automatic immigration rights to the good old USA (where we like and respect them)? Do you think it would have been better not to defeat the Ottoman Empire in WWI, permitting them to continue their rule of the entire region?? You wouldn't accept communist Red Jersey, why do you expect the Muslims to accept Jewish Israel? Listen.. Jews were just as entitled to live there as Arabs. In fact, over a million Jews across the Arab world were "evicted" and told to leave these Muslim ruled countries. Christians have been facing the VERY SAME discrimination under Muslim rule, DESPITE having been present in these countries BEFORE the Muslims ever invaded. The Coptic Christians of Egypt have been forced to live under Muslim rule. Several million Iraqi Christians face the same discrimination and violence in Iraq. Where will it end? Do they have to all leave THEIR HOMELANDS because certain militant and intolerant Muslim groups don't want them? Democracy is about protecting minority rights against majority tyranny. And democratic nations have a duty and obligation to protect OTHER democratic nations, even if a minority in the area they reside, against tyrannical and intolerant majorities. Hawk
