as of today I am in full bear market fatigues regarding the OIH and related cos.... will be unwinding option positions on any bounce this week we may see due to oversold conditions, earnings, etc.... will still attempt to play the extreme oversold spots but will sell/hedge all rallies off these extremes. these "bear" markets appear to churn for about 12-18 months with all other things being equal. If you figure this one started back in Feb of this year we are looking at mid 2007 for some clarity. of course the alterations can come from the usual fed overshoot and mideast tensions but these cycles are etched in stone, IMO, and i personally will respect that. now if i can turn these thoughts into some discipline and profitability we'll be OK. good luck to all and heres to a nice sharp bounce in august for a couple weeks. joe
