It's too bad they didn't address whether news reports are actually biased, because that has some bearing on the issue. Why? Do you really, truly, honestly think a) it's possible to not be biased, b) you recognize your own biases? (Not intended to be personal, perhaps I should say "that one can recognize one's own biases?) One of the funniest things I've ever seen is JohnM earnestly explaining how the New Yorke Times has no biases. I'm sure he's sincere, that's why it's so funny. Like watching a well-dressed man walk around unconscious of the strip of toilet paper on his shoe. What's on your shoes?
