I'm thinking of writing something in a 'letter to the editor'. Any thoughts? This is what I have so far:

President Bush has taught me a great many things in the past few years. I'd like to share some of what I've learned with you.

I've learned about how bad liberals are at making predictions. Before the Iraq war started, liberals were complaining that the war would create more terrorists, that we wouldn't find weapons of mass destruction, that it would last longer than 3 months, and that Iraq would erupt into a civil war in the aftermath. Something ought to be done about those liberals.

I've learned about our democracy. It is not the job of the president to care about what the american people think, it's the job of the president to care about what he thinks.

I've learned about the importance of national security. If the CIA concludes that going to war in Iraq will increase the threat of terrorism and create a civil war, the most sensible thing to do is go to war and justify it as vital to our national security, or if that doesn't work, as a way to install a peaceful democracy.

I've learned about American values, that torture is justified so long as it offers a slight chance of protection, that holding prisoners without charges or trial is necessary, and that federal judges should be removed from power if they disagree with congress.

I've learned about the importance of voting. After the 2000 election debacle, it was important to Americans to get voting right. Why not use electronic voting machines that leave no paper trail and have been unanimously condemned by experts as unsecure and easily tampered with?

I've also learned something about bipartisanship. It doesn't matter if you're a democrat or a republican, if you disagree with the president you're a traitor to the country.

And most importantly, I've learned that you should always trust the president, because whether it's about the justification for going to war, the link between Al Qaeda and Saddam, domestic surveillance, social security going bankrupt, anticipating the breech of the levees, or about anticipating that planes could be used as weapons against a building, the president would never, ever lie to you.

It's been an education.
