I don't put much stock in private evidence, because I figure if it's any good, then it should be good enough to stand up to public scrutiny.

Are you saying that his inaccurately calling Brinker a miscreant was one of the reasons you asked him to leave? That's the only case I know of where "didn't know that the word meant" was an issue.

As for your other claims, I just looked back at some of the posts involved, and I can see why you didn't want to post the links. It's really not a slam dunk for either side. A lot of it is in what interpretation one puts on the things that were said. I think you're exaggerating what he said, but I think you were both losing your tempers. In any case, rather than continuing to go 'round and 'round about it, I suggest that we just let people read it for themselves and form their own opinions about what the correct interpretations are. Here is Dija's last post on your Brinker thread, and people can step back through the discussion to see what led up to it:
