"I'll answer that question if you'll answer this one: When you adopted my old screen name from 101, were you hoping people would think you were me?"

There is no need for me to answer your question to get you to answer mine since the link you just provided for the Kirk dija Issue led to a post by you that answers my original question. Here is your response:

Do I have to endorse everything I buy?

It's true that I originally adopted this screen name out of concern that my subscription might be canceled if I criticized Brinker, but I am no longer concerned about that, because it is not as important to me to receive Marketimer as it used to be.

The reasons I gave "not hours ago" for renewing my subscription were "Maybe his model has something to offer, but as the bernardo has pointed out, evaluating it in a statistically valid way is not easy. I guess I just want to see how it turns out." That is what I wrote, and I stand by that statement. If you think that's an endorsement, it probably means you're looking for a straw man you can knock down.

My whole purpose in brining this up was to show folks here who were in denial about Brinker refusing to sell his newsletter to anyone critical of him that you knew he engaged in this practice. Your testimony shows that it is not undocumented hearsay as this poster who is covering up for Brinker claims.

Peanut_butter wanted to know what my problem was. Well my problem is the way Bob Brinker conducts his business. First of all he had a website that denied posters freedom of speech. If anything was said that was the least bit critical of Brinker the post was deleted and the poster terminated. Second is the way he handled the QQQ trade and the way his followers seem bent on blaming the poor souls who lost money because they followed his guidelines. Math is a perfect example of this with respect to the poor guy who posts as retiredinprescott. I agree that he shouldn't have put that much of his life savings into that one trade. It was the mistake of a novice investor who had no business TRADING in the first place. It proves my point that Brinker can be dangerous to novice investors. Third Brinker's people told angry subscribers who wanted a refund that they would never be allowed to subscribe in the future. Brinker supporters here deny this fact. Fourth I have been trying to find out what Bob Brinker did during his 25 years on Wall Street that makes him a stock market expert. All I have been able to find out in over 10 years of asking that question is the two companies where he was employed. No one seems to know what he accomplished there if anything. Many books have been written about Wall Street legends and I can't find the name Bob Brinker in any one of them also there are no books written by him. Contrast this to Peter Lynch.
