I've looked at Peak Oil that way

But Peak Oil only blocks the sun
It rains and snows on everyone
So many things I would have done
But Peak Oil got in my way.

From up and down, but still somehow
It's Peak Oil illusions I recall
I really don't know Peak Oil at all.
