You know...I can actually remember when that meant that a person would look at a candidate from a WHOLE perspective and not just as ONE issue or ONE party.

We seem to be telling the Iraqis to vote for candidates based on their qualifications and not JUST their religion, but we seem to be moving more in their direction with our democracy than they are moving in ours.

So WHO's teaching WHOM?
