What Israel needs to do is develop widespread political support. This isn't entirely accurate. Israel needs to develop widespread (at least reasonable) support from its neighbor countries. If the rest of the world loves Israel, but Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt and the Pal refugees don't, you're always going to have problems. Bolivia supporting Israel's right to exist really doesn't matter much in the scheme of things.
