She thinks she is smart having a Ph.D. degree, was a Provost of Stanford, expert in USSR. She thinks that since she is good at USSR (RIP), her knowledge is transferable to knowledge in Iraq. If she is really smart she should have learnt from history about Afghanistan that the USSR failed to control the country, ene geographically they are neighbors. One thing she did help Beirut for one day. The Israel military was warned that Condi's helicopter would land in the airport and so please do not bomb that area. So for one day, the Lebanese living near the airport had a break. Condi should just rent a condo in Beirut. And Condi's condo will not be destroyed.
