In general the risk with Sonus is a lack of sincerity by the world's incumbent wireline and wireless carriers to uprade their networks. In this case Sonus continues to win pretty much every alternate carrier(Carphone, Vonage, etc) but incumbents can delay, work with sub-standard vendors, do nothing, wait around for hybrid solutions, generally the types of things that work in a Lucent or Nortel's favor.

Even in this worst case I think Sonus is undervalued. If there is any pop in the motivation of the incumbents worldwide to move to a NGN sooner rather than later, SONS goes through the roof. Very good risk reward ratio IMO.

The opportunity is immense
