Please do me a BIG favor ......

Whenever you contemplate the carrytrade, BOJ interest
rate changes or interest rate forecasts in general ....

PLEASE post a link here.

Here is why:

You have a clear, economical writing style.

I *usually* do NOT follow a post the first time and have
to noodle it to absorb it. Your writing *clarity* obviates
the need to do that.

The big message I am taking away from your post is
as follows: (on one reading of it)

(a) Once the BOJ decided to pull-back on liquidity this
hurt the *markets*.

(b) Once the BOJ backed-off somewhat - the markets regained their composure

(c) but down the road the BOJ WILL tighten up on liquidity
(and this part you did NOT say) and therefore I can
expect the same negative or downward correction in the
markets as was just experienced.

Hope I got it correct.

I very MUCH appreciated that post. I do NOT like economic
*thingies* to get to far past me.

And yes - they do anyway.

regards,
John McCarthy
