I agree with you 100 %.

With so many companies, I think I've joined many in throwing up by hands in despair and thinking 'this is as good as it gets.' Then we patronize those companies that have provided the best of the mediocre service, or we build it, or fix it, or do it ourselves. Dell is one such company which has consistently provided me with machines that don't fail and exemplary service when needed. For instance, the last monitor ordered had two dead pixels. Even though this is within the limits of allowed dead pixels, I was sent a new monitor with a return shipping label. I wasn't on the phone more than ten minutes and whole transaction was set up. Maybe with Dell I'm one of the lucky ones....I'm certainly unlucky with many other products from many other supposedly great companies.
