Everything Bush does now is just for show and self-defense, especially anything he can do to avoid a landslide by Dems in congress in November after which Bush would get impeached and Cheney indicted.

If there is a God up there watching out for our democracy, then we are in the a huge landslide to sweep out 50% of the Bushie rightwing leadership. Their extra and unfair jerrymandering protects them somewhat but the people have to be fed up with this bunch, including conservatives, honest conservatives that is.
