I believe it's prudent and wise to minimize air pollution and not waste natural resources.

After seeing the movie, which we enjoyed, and then reading several articles questioning the graphs and science used by Gore that also sounded convincing, that's where I wind up. It is far too complex for a little piano player to figure out when the scientists can't even agree, but common sense says we need to be better stewards of our world and invest in an alternative fuel future for a lot of reasons.
Good enough for me.
I heard thomas Friedman on Tim Russert the other night and he seems to be moving his focus to the environment. He spoke about the ownership of words-- how the right had taken over the defining of the concept "green", and equated it with wimpy, liberal, girlyman, unpatriotic. He wants to take it back and make it seriously patriotic and strong and smart.

He seemed even more concerned than Gore.
