It certainly SHOULD scare them!!

But I'm not so sure this is just someone floating a "balloon".. It would give Turkey tremendous credibility, massive leverage with regard to dealing with the PKK (Kurds), as well as the ability to circumvent previous attempts by the EU to prevent its entry into their common market.

And no one else seems to want to go into the region and deal with Hizbullah (not exactly saying the Turks do either).

But I certainly believe that only the deployment of such a force with the reputation of toughness and ruthlessness in dealing with attacks upon their soldiers is going to solve this problem in Lebanon.
