Your the one with the "it's the USA only" view of pollution. The problem is world wide and with respect to coal fired power stations in particular.

Frankly I think 1 ppm is a not a safe upper limit for mercury in food to be consumed by human beings. I think is should be set lower. The reason being that 40 ppm has been proved to cause brain damage if ingested in food over a period of time.

(If my mercury addled brain remembers the data correctly.
It's the tuna I eat that did it ya know)
