Did a litle bit of research into the Lebanon-Israeli mess. There has been a UN Peacekeeping force in southern Lebanon EVER SINCE THE ISRAELIS WITHDREW! That's 6 years. What the H have they BEEN DOING???? Sitting on their cans watching Hezebollah fire rockets at the Israelis? Because it seems that didn't just start either. It's been going on for MONTHS. It wasn't until Hezebollah invaded, killed 8 Israeli soldiers, and kidnapped 2, that the Israelis struck back.

NOW Kofi is SCREAMING about UN observers having been killed (apparently) by Israel. But the failure of HIS observers to prevent this problem in the first place count for nothing.
