The sad thing is that Bush has convinced HIMSELF of the republican talking points that you mention above and then sits there dumbfounded when his approval ratings refuse to climb from Nixon levels.

Here's a hint- inflating assets/commodities + wage deflation DO NOT cancel themselves out. The stock market gets this even if dumbya does not.
