Moon, I leave the money in Singapore with City bank and get the proverbial TJ's hamburger!

Let me please give you another example: The flat I live in (25 24 11.92s,49 15 29.04w) is good for the outside -has 5.000m2 of garden, swimming, pool sports court, play ground, mammoth size barbecue area etc.- but the inside is small.

After the lot I got a bit curious and start making my homework.: Started asking the price because I may end up selling once I moved. I noticed the price increased a lot. People told me the court built beside here. (This gray long area just one centimeter southern of it)

Sadia -a food company- moved from S. Paulo and settled nearby. There are three big private schools nearby. (People here if they have a certain income they use private school for the kids since public schools are in disarray).

To manage work and kids' school people need to live conveniently near work, near downtown and near school. So they can come back and eat lunch at home.

There was a prision nearby (this rectangular redish roof building a bit more to the south in an mostly empty area) to be moved away and a shopping mall was to be built. But since the area was donated to the state long ago by a wealthy family for public purposes -the descendants want it back if it wold be used for private pruposes- the area is now planned as a Judiciary Center to concentrate all the judiciary offices in a single place.

Inmates left two weeks ago. Plan is ready and construction will start 2007 to be completed by 2010.

To see how the place is going to look like see here:

centrojudiciariodecuritiba.pr.gov.br

Then double click in the image -which is the layout of the new buildings to be constructed- and it will blow up. You will see the redish buildign will still be there. Kept as a museum and the modern buildings are the Judiciary Center, forming a triangle on the right.

Top Left, you see two tall buildings perpendicular to each other. (Note the photo is old and the new court beside my place is not yet up) I live now in the left one. I am thinking here: If I keep for three years more the value will increase a lot because the civil servants will need to live nearby.

Only now I discovered if one keep his eyes open to those those real estate details, one can make more money than leaving it at the Citibank!!!
