Gary, I decided this morning, as I have every morning, NOT to sell my position in VVUS. Wall Street is not looking for a blow-out number from Vivus, they are looking for growth AND consistency...this next earnings report, with or without the UK 2m will provide three qtrs in a row that meet those criteria. Not bad for a spanky brand new company! Next, production capacity will be immediately doubled in the 4th quarter as the new facility comes on line, Irish plant 12 months out roughly. I think their biggest production problem in the future will be translating the package inserts into 20 different languages.

The financials on VVUS are good and have not been a recent issue on any thread. The other thing I like is the fact that Vanik owns 7% of the stock and I have heard but can not prove that he is buying another 7%. Guess we wait for the SEC reports. He is on record as stating that he is working with VVUS management to "improve shareholder value." Something is improving shareholder value, I wonder what the short interest is today? Folks are saying that around $40 is the magic number for the legendary squeeze to start, who is to say the squeeze didn't get us to where we are now? I guarantee it has not been a hot series of press releases, industry news, UK announcements or rumors.

VVUS is a stock that won't sit still. It is either going up or it is going down, I call it going on sale. Lately, even the smallest thing can bolt on two or points. The word "ripe" comes to mind.

There is no way I could go to cash at this point, or anytime before earnings for that matter. Gee whiz.

You know your stuff, no question about that. You made a nice profit for sure. I'm just dug in and don't mind saying so. I sold a batch of my 25 3/4 at 33 5/8 last week as a reality check but I'm letting the 90% ride.
