Divx is an interesting business model the technology is a mess and yes, it does represent an opportunity for Wave. I doubt that the major players in DVD will let curcuit city own the dvd standard. I also doubt that the PC companies will implement the Divx technology in a PC. It would add about $20. minimum to a PC. This whole project fly in the face of the microsoft and Intel initiative to have the PC viewed as a digital TV, if the movies won't play on a PC.
We are watching this area very closely and have the right relationships to impact Pay per view video.

However, I am still not sure the business model flies for feature film. You still have to go out and get the disk and then you have to pay $5.00 per view. I think it needs some work. For kid's videos rent to own is a great model.

Don't expect anything from us in the near term on Divex but it is part of our medium term strategy. The Divx announcement helps to develop a consumer pay per view market model with a technology that is not competitive with Wave's direct thrust. There will be 10 times as many DVD players in PCs so I think we are in the right market.
