Re: Stock buybacks. Since QCOM has already announced a policy of buying back stock, I don't believe it's necessary to wait any length of time before making purchases. Any purchases, whether in stock or in the form of writing put options, would be in line with the overall policy that has been in effect for quite some time. The 10-day rule, as I understand it, applies only to a NEW company policy, different from the old one.
