BBC World TV and BBC International Radio are the only foreign media I can claim to have regular exposure to, apart from the mediocre South African broadcasters. I find the BBC coverage sober, insightful and pretty fair in my book. That makes me a raving pinko lefty in winger circles, but I really couldn't care less about their biases.

I worked with a lot of international media organizations in my previous career. The BBC and NY Times folks were usually the best at any given scene. The US TV correspondents were almost always looking for jazzy angles to a story.
