No Richard, I am referrinf to post #2148:

"Most of these people will need carefull pre (Muse)-therapy screening, toinclude a cardiac stress test with a Thallium nuclear scan as well as carotid and vertebral colorflow duplex ultrasound to make sure thatthey do not have arterial coronary and carotid occlusive disease WHICHCAN GIVE AN INSTANT HEART ATTACK 7 OR STROKE if you drop your blood pressure."

This is nothing new. And, you don'tneed and/or shouldn't have ED to wantto get these tyests if you are 65-70 and over, because arteriosclerosis is the No 1 killer in America. This is just good medicine.

Youe subsequent ost on Viagra however is also true:

I see nothing has changed in my time away from this thread.
<<What you mentioned is nothing new. I indeed posted it
about 5 months ago and I will try and locate my original post and
repost-it.All U rologists know about this.>>>

So you knew all along that MUSE had systemic side effects and posted as
much months ago? Perhaps you are referring to your posting #1815 (June
4):

<<<....with Viagra we are now finding out that we keep moving into
higher dosesto get an effect same as Muse and the old Alprostadil/Caverject injectable. The only difference is that the latter two are CONTAINED LOCALLY and do notexpose the body to side effects.>>>

a) The increasing dose of Viagra is true, as depicted in the 1996 article in the British Journal of Urology.
b) the last sentence, "the latter two are CONTAINED LOCALLY and do not expose the body to side effects.>>> " I should have added,
" do not expose the body to systemic side effects AS MUCH AS A SYSTEMIC drug does. My lapse. However this ,I assumed was self evident and widely known that I did not need to point it out.

In the future however I promise to be extra accurate because I know you are such a stickler for details !! gg.
